The Rotterdamsche Oude aged 55 weeks has been awarded gold at the Gouda Cheese Awards 2020 and now carries the title of 'tastiest old Gouda cheese in the Netherlands'. This cheese was previously awarded gold during the World Cheese Championships in Wisconsin. You can expect a distinct and robust taste with this 55-week matured cheese. The ripening crystals are clearly visible as white dots in the cheese. These crystals are also called salt crystals and give the well-known round and full taste.
