1 bag of icing mix (150g)
1 bag of pearls (20g)
1 sheet of templates

Supplies:
Mixing bowl

Rolling pin
Baking paper
Piping bag

Oven temperature:
Electric: 180°C
Hot air: 160°C
Gas oven: setting 4
Baking time: approx. 15 minutes

Add yourself:
160 g butter or margarine
45 ml water (25 ml + 20 ml)
Flower

Baking the Zaans house:
1. Preheat the oven.
2. Mix the butter and the mix for Zaanhuisje in a mixing bowl with a mixer with dough hooks into a crumbly dough. Then add 25 ml of water and
mix this well again.
3. Remove the dough from the bowl and knead it well with your hands into a dough ball.
4. Sprinkle the work area with some flour to prevent sticking. Roll out the dough with a rolling pin into a rectangle of approx. 30 x 40 cm (approx. 5 mm thickness).
5. Use the template to cut out the house parts. Roll out the remaining dough into a square of approximately 11 x 11 cm for the floor.
6. Place the parts on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake for approximately 15 minutes in the center of the preheated oven.
7. Let the parts cool for about 1 minute and then cut the edges of the cookie parts straight, so that they can be placed properly against each other later.

Building and decorating the house:
1. Mix the icing powder and 20 ml of water in a bowl with a spoon until you get a smooth icing.
2. Place the icing in the piping bag and cut off a small tip.
3. Use the glaze as “cement” to assemble the house.
4. Stick the Zaanse facade against the other facade.
5. Decorate the house with the remaining icing and the pearls.
